Yoshimoto’s President Takes the Stage at a Tama Shinkin Bank Press Roundtable

Earlier this month, our president, Mr. Yoshimoto, was invited to speak at a special event: the **Tama Shinkin Bank Press Roundtable**, hosted by Tama Shinkin Bank, one of Japan’s respected regional financial institutions.

This wasn’t his first time in the spotlight. A previous talk hosted by the SME Support Center in Japan also drew a large audience. But this time, the room included something a little different: journalists and senior figures from some of Japan’s most recognized media outlets, all there to hear his story.

Tama Shinkin Bank works with a large portfolio of client companies. Being selected from among them as a “model company” worth featuring says something about how far Yoshimoto Group’s journey has come — and how much attention our work in Vietnam is starting to attract.

During the talk, Mr. Yoshimoto shared the real story behind our move to Vietnam: not a simple relocation, but a decision shaped by hard lessons from the 2008 financial crisis and the 2011 earthquake, and by years of trial and error building something meaningful alongside our Vietnamese team. He spoke candidly about the manufacturing know-how Yoshimoto Factory has built over 50 years — and how that foundation, not just cost or convenience, is what makes our Vietnam operations work.

It’s a good reminder of where we stand right now: Yoshimoto Group, and our Vietnam operations in particular, are busier than ever, filling a growing volume of orders from partners around the world. And through it all, our president stays hands-on — out in front, telling our story himself, one conversation at a time.

We’re proud of how far this journey has taken us, and we’re just getting started. Thank you for being part of it.
